Thoughts from Heathrow

Politics, the country nerved by the lies
London, where the decisions for daily living made
Impact not on the lives of the decision makers
Is it just? Is it fair? Can the wrong doer be made better?
Can they that sit in the seats of liars be saved or
Worse do they profess a faith in a God that is not shown in their decisions?
Are we a Christian country?

Who is this?
What right have I to say that government sucks?
Except for being a citizen of the country they run I
have nothing to offer, no words, no party, no acts, no referendums,

no voice

A Voice for the voiceless, a hope for the needy?
Is our country so disjointed from its maker it needs a hospital visit?
Break it - remake it -
cast it and protect it - give it time and care and love and remember
the mistakes of the past. Maybe Life is more than this
Maybe it is not about those 'out there'
and our 'safe country.'
A haven for too long, a life for too much time wasted because of distractions

Time to make a stand
to be productive about God's brand
of righteous justice.

Too long we stood still looking at the others
pointing out the faults, a stick in your eye
but we dont see the tree in our own.
injustice and justice
faith and pride
love and apathy
speaking is useless
action prevails
life is a picture, a painting, a sound.
The Trumpet sounds.
The Groom returns
Will the Bride be waiting?
